15 place Dauphine, Paris 1
Facts :
1- The Place Dauphine, on the Ile de la Cité, was created under Henri IV in the honor of the dauphin Louis (future Louis XIII). He was then 6 years old. It was only achieved in 1643, before his death.
2- What you see in the picture is the typical style Louis XIII, alternating stones and bricks. You can admire them also in the Place des Vosges.
3- Yves Montant and Simone Signoret lived in those buildings.
